As we move into July, excitement starts to build within the GAA community............it's Championship time!!
League and Cup games are all well and good but Championship is where it's at. Longwood's senior hurlers leave port on their latest championship voyage this Saturday evening when they make the short journey to Killyon to tackle Boardsmill.
The teams met a few weeks ago in the league with Boardsmill coming out on top. Whether that result has any impact on Saturday's game remains to be seen but it's safe to assume that the game tempo is likely to be raised several notches.
Come out and cheer the boys on - your support can only help.
The game starts at 6.30.
Parking spaces in Killyon are limited so be sure to arrive in good time.
Cash will not be accepted at the gates.
