Longwood's walkathon took place in glorious sunshine yesterday with teams of walkers taking to the track, roads and lanes around the village, united by the goal of raising funds for our Ball Wall which is currently under construction.

Huge credit is due to our Club Secretary, Niamh Burke, for project managing the event and I'm sure Niamh would like to extend her appreciation to the organising committee, the team leaders, their bands of walkers and, most importantly, to all who kindly donated in support of the event. We really appreciate your support, and it will benefit all our current players and the generations to come.
