Senior club players across the length and breadth of the country will have heaved a collective sigh of relief at the news that they can soon return to training with their clubs.
After months of inactivity, May 10th will see players return to the training fields, after the government gave the green light for collective training to resume. Teams will have four weeks to prepare before
club games get underway from June 7th. The games will be played behind closed doors. We can only hope that spectators will be permitted to attend games as we progress through the season.
With Juvenile players already back in the training groove, GAA clubs across the land are at last showing signs of a return to some kind of normality.
