Longwood's U11 hurlers finally got back on the field when they hosted Boardsmill on Wednesday evening.

Having completed a number of weeks training under the tutelage of their excellent coaches, Longwood's young hurlers were understandably delighted to get back to competitive action.

With the pitch looking resplendent on a beautiful, balmy evening, both teams served up a very entertaining game with all the skills of hurling on display for all to see.

We look forward to seeing these players represent their clubs for many years to come.
