The long wait for a game for our U7 and U9 hurlers finally came to an end this morning when they hosted their neighbours from Boardsmill.

The ongoing uncertainty surrounding the GAA season combined with the beautiful sunshine, ensured that all players were keen to grasp the opportunity to get back on the pitch in their beloved white jerseys.

In the current climate Covid procedures are very much top of mind and they were in evidence again today with all players and mentors sanitised entering/exiting the playing field. Given recent events in neighbouring counties, this necessary task has become more important than ever. Still, it's a small price to pay to ensure our games can continue.

As you can see from the pictures below all players really enjoyed the game and that is what it is all about.

Well done to all our young hurlers and their fantastic group of mentors!
