The answer is a very definite YES!  

Championship season is upon us.....................Longwood will do battle with Navan O'Mahonys on Saturday evening in the opening round of the Senior B Hurling Championship.

The teams met recently in the league when O'Mahonys ran out convincing winners.  They subsequently won the league final in impressive style so will approach Saturday's game full of confidence.

Longwood endured a tough league campaign dealing with a catalogue of injuries and intercounty commitments and will look for a championship bounce come the weekend.

The game takes place in Athboy with throw-in scheduled for 5:30
