Longwood GAA & LGFA are launching our annual Last One Standing competition to coincide with the start of the National Football League next weekend.
This important fundraiser is a fun way to enjoy the weekly League games in Division 1 & 2 and gives us all a chance to test our Gaelic Football expertise.
The objective of the game is to pick one winning team in each round of the league and the league final.
Sounds easy, doesn't it?............but the catch (there's always a catch!) is that you can only pick a team once throughout the competition.
If your selection loses or draws their game, you are out of the competition.
If you fail to pick a team, you are out of the competition.
If none of the finalists are available to pick (i.e. you have picked them in an earlier round), you are out of the competition.
But if you can predict 8 consecutive winners you are in with a chance to win the Top Prize of €500.
There is also €200 for second place and €100 for third place.
So think carefully before making your selection!
It costs €15 to enter the competition. U18's and students can enter for €10
If your Round 1 selection is beaten, you can re-enter the competition for €10

Please get your selection and payment in before midday next Saturday, 24th January.

And remember this is not restricted to Longwood club members so please share with your family, friends, work colleagues etc. even if they are involved with other clubs.
It's a bit of fun and the more we have taking part, the better it is for our club.
